These group classes range from 6-12 kids. Classes are composed of six classes each session
Intermediate/Advanced Group Class for kids with a USCF rating of 300-1200. Limited to 8-10 kids
Advanced Group Class for kids USCF rated 600+ or with coach approval Limited to 8-10 kids.
Ideal for beginners who already know the basics and/or previously took beginners with us. Limited to 6 kids.

Ideal for more serious kids with ratings of 0-700 USCF (if lower rated must have prior knowledge but may not have played in many tournaments to establish rating). IMs/GMs as guest coaches.
1) First, you need register through our website. Click the link on group classes online!
2) After you’ve registered, we will send you the link via email. We will be using Zoom as our platform in terms of video & audio. For the chess games, we require that you sign up at lichess.org. This is the same site where we will do practice games. As soon as you’ve signed up on lichess, please email us your name/handle.
3) Then you’re all set! Please have your kids be ready 5 minutes before class starts. Simply click the zoom link when the kids are ready!
*Please note: make-ups/credits are not allowed for these classes which are offered at a reduced rate. Registration is required each month in order to gain access to the class. You will receive a new classroom link with Zoom ID and PW each time you register.

He’s currently training several kids who are going to World Youth. Available online (via Skype & ICC/lichess/chess.com). He recently won 2nd place at the National Championship held in Cebu, Philippines. He also won the Senior's Championship in December. He will now represent the Philippines at the World Senior Championship in Assissi, Italy in November, 2022.

Our famous and popular coach who trained many superstar kids from Northern California. Former Women World Champion Susan Polgar calls him the “superstar coach” since he coaches a lot of kids who become superstars. He has at least 40 kids who are in the top 100 nationwide list, 60+ State Champions, 40 National Champions, 20 Medalists (Gold/Silver/Bronze) in various International competitions – North American Youth Chess Championships, Pan American Championship and World Youth Chess Championship. In 2014, he has 14 kids who qualified at the World Youth in Abu Dhabi. Coach Teddy Bear, as fondly called by his students, usually has a wait-list but has few slots available this Winter. FIDE Instructor and Mongolian Champion. She also won the US Women's Open in Las Vegas few years ago. She actively teaches in various schools and online. She also won several tournaments since she's quite active playing in the chess circuit.
Coach Seth has been teaching chess for NorCal House of Chess for several years now. He teaches at the chess camps, regular classes and private classes for our beginners. He was part of NorCal House of Chess team that won the National Championship at the 2014 National Junior Congress.
